Monero

XMR. The most private payment path we offer.

Status: skeleton

Full content lands in a follow-up pass.

How it works

  1. In the portal: Billing → Top up → XMR
  2. We display a one-time integrated address (subaddress derived from our wallet, generated by BTCPay's Monero plugin)
  3. Send any amount; balance applies after 10 confirmations (~20 minutes)

What's seen on-chain

  • Nothing useful. Monero's stealth addresses, ring signatures, and confidential transactions hide sender, receiver, and amount from third-party observers
  • The deposit address we showed you is a one-time subaddress; it doesn't link to any other transaction

What we see

  • The deposit confirms in our wallet (the wallet sees what its own owner sees: amounts that landed on its subaddresses)
  • We do not link the deposit to any external identity unless you've voluntarily attached an email to the account

Why Monero is first-class

Bitcoin is pseudonymous; Monero is anonymous. For tenants whose threat model includes blockchain analysis, XMR is the path that doesn't leak metadata. We don't treat it as second-tier — it's a primary payment option, deposit + withdraw both supported.
